Happy Friday scrappy friends!  Today it's my day at Scrap Our Stash and my assignment was to create  a layout from the sketch below that was designed by Scrap Our Stash's Rochelle Spears as well as add some chipboard.

I was drawn to the sunburst and came up with this layout using a stencil, modeling paste and "painted" the rays with Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mists.  I used some alphabet chipboard letters in my title as well as some new laser cut chipboard by Creative Embellishments.  I love the hashtag words.

Happy Sunday!  It's Lee-Anne here and today it's my turn at Kreaxions and I created a layout and thought it needed something to accent and give it the finished look, so I added punched corners to the bottom left and top right corners of the layout.  For this layout I used Kreaxions 4 in 1 Punch #307 with Insert B.

The design team was challenged to create a layout inspired by our choice of one of three sketches and our choice of alphas (stash items) to include on our layouts.
Here is my layout inspired by Sketch #2 and using piecharts and an overlay.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the polaroid "happy" frame overlay and also my piecharts.  I used lots of layering with the My Mind's Eye Crazy Boy Collection as well as a chipboard laser embellishment hashtag word #cute from a new company called Creative Embellishments that I painted with a red paint dabber.

Practical Scrappers September 2013 Sketch

Hello scrappy friends!  It's Friday and Practical Scrappers have an awesome sketch to share with you created by our own Liz Chidester.

Practical Scrappers September Sketch
Designed by Liz Chidester
I love her sketches and I created a layout of my two sons, they are fifteen years apart in age, but they always have a great time together.  I used My Mind's Eye Boy Crazy Collection of papers and stickers.

"The Boys Having Some Summer Fun"

Acrylic Paints - Ranger
Adhesive - 3L Adhesive, Scotch
Cardstock - DCWV
Chipboard Words - Creative Embellishments
Ink - Ranger
Letter Stickers - Tim Holtz
Patterned Papers - My Mind's Eye (Boy Crazy)
Pen - Marvy Uchida
Roller Stamp - Glitz Designs
Stickers - My Mind's Eye (Boy Crazy)
Twine - Recollections
This layout was so fun to create.  I wanted to make something colorful and playful so I used the Boy Wonder Collection from My Mind's Eye for the patterned papers and stickers and inked up my roller stamp to stamp arrows down the middle of the layout on the cardstock background.  I recently purchased some laser cut chipboard from Creative Embellishments and wanted to use the hashtag words and make a title.  I first painted them with some acrylic paint daubers and let them dry before adhering them to my layout.  I also combined them with some miniature letter stickers from Tim Holtz to make it more interesting.  I am enjoying using twine in different ways so to highlight the date, I wrapped some twine around my three fingers and then adhered with some Aleene's Tacky Glue.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoyed your stay.  Don't forget to check out what the other gals at Practical Scrappers did with the September Sketch.  Have a wonderful day and weekend!

Practical Scrappers Ten Things Tuesday - Doilies

Hello scrappy followers.  Happy Tuesday. Today at Practical Scrappers we are talking doilies. Yes they are all the rage and there are so many ways to add them to a layout. I love the texture and dimension that doilies add to a project.

For this particular layout of my wedding day, I cut out a doily design that I found in the Silhouette Online Store and cut it out on a sheet of vellum with my Silhouette Cameo. I thought that the birds were perfect for the occasion (grin).

It doesn't show up so well on the photo below so that is why I took more detailed photos above.
"Best Day Ever"
Crochet Heart - Bella Blvd.
Adhesive - 3L, Scotch
Feather - Bella Blvd.
Flowers - Silhouette America
Mists - Heidi Swapp Color Shine (Primrose, Chartreuse, Mint Green, Mustard)
Paper Doily - My Little Yellow Bicycle
Patterned Papers - Bella Blvd. (Love And Marriage Collection)
Pen - Marvy Uchida
Punch - Kreaxions 4 In 1 Punch (#311)
Stickers - Bella Blvd. (Love And Marriage Collection)
Vellum Doilies - Silhouette America
Sewing Machine Stitching
Silhouette Cameo
I love the softness of vellum and find myself using vellum quite often lately.

Lots Of Bella Blvd. Layouts To Share

Hello friends!  Happy Monday!  Today I wanted to share some recent layouts that I created.  These were all created with Bella Blvd. products and I love their collections so much.  It was time to scrap my wedding day fourteen years ago and also my two oldest children have been married for a while and I thought the Love And Marriage Collection and the Finally Engaged Collection were perfect to create some wedding and engagement layouts with.

but it was also fun to scrapbook a layout on the cutest little boy who happens to be my daughter and son in law's little nephew when he did his cake smash for his first birthday.  I used the Birthday Boy Collection for this one.

I love all the collections and also the cute little crochet hearts, washi tape and feathers that Bella Blvd. have for embellishing.  I also love the way Bella Blvd. makes it so easy to mix collections and that the colors all coordinate so beautifully.

Thanks for stopping by today and sharing your Monday with me.  I hope you have an awesome day!

Buttons - October Afternoon
Cardstock - American Crafts
Chipboard Letters - American Crafts
Patterned Papers - October Afternoon (Cakewalk Collection)Pearls - Kaisercraft

In celebration of "All about Me"
I made this page below.  I used the Kreaxions Punch #311 in many different ways.

"About Me"
Buttons - Jenni Bowlin and Fancy Pants Designs
Cardstock - American Crafts
Doilies - Silhouette America
Kraft Label - Maya Road
Faux Stitching - Marvy Uchida Pen
Flair Buttons - Fancy Pants Designs
Letter Stickers - American Crafts
Mists - Heidi Swapp Colorshine Mists
Patterned Papers - Fancy Pants Designs (Memories Captured)
Punch - Kreaxions (4 in 1 Punch #311)
Stickers - Fancy Pants Designs
Vellum - Recollections
Twine - Freckled Fawn
Here are some more detailed photos of how I used the Kreaxions Punch #311:
On the photo below, I cut some vellum strips and using insert A. I punched the design randomly along the strip.  It is a bit hard to see.

In this photo below,  I used a spare piece of vellum, Punch #311 with Insert A and used it as a "stencil".  I added some texture paste randomly on the card stock then I let it dry.  Once it was dry, I  added some pearls to the center of the design.  I also used the insert C to punch the four corners of the white cardstock and then adhered a piece of black cardstock underneath to make them pop more.
I used Punch #311 Insert B and punched each corner of the matted frame

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your weekend with me.
Next up is the talented  Lisa.
